what am I seeking
how come these dark feelings creeps around in my mind

a faint light can be seen from the distanse
but do I dare to walk towards it?

what would change if I dared
would the shadows be gone? the feelings?

the emptiness that hurts my wrists and heart?

no, I know what I have and I dare not move forward

let me stay here
I don't have the courage to walk to any path
not even towards that light

I don't even let myself free
the shadows have become my home, they have always been there

I have the imagionation to create worlds and been comforted by them
but I can never bring that world out to this realm

I hold the key to it and I know where to look but that is all it can be
my imagination ...my fantasy

I have been hurt
letting the shadows grow

maybe I should stay here ...as long I live
but that is not my wish

deep inside I want to move forward but does not hold the courage for it
so I stay

in the comfort of the shadows

For the joy
For the life of the blood

Things that slowly fades in time

Your skin
Your touch is warm
Comforting hands, that I gently hold onto

The night, the dark night
Ever alone in the shadows
I watch and put a distance

Those eyes, that sees everything
The skin with it's warmness and caring hands

Begone and live, you will survive
Your light will glow in the darkness
Will mine is hidden and forgotten in the night...
