Even though Papa Lazarou looks like a black/white minstrel, this has nothing to do with the American racial history. He's a character from a British comedy show (The League of Gentlemen), and was not created with any intent on insulting anyone. It's just a circus thing here, nothing racial. As you can see in the pictures below (especially the third, fourth and fifth), it is his real face colouring, and he has to put on make up, to appear normal (he was tattooed by his parents and forced to drink bleach - to scar his voice [apparently other things were done too, judging from the scars under his scarf, which can be seen in the last picture] - at a young age, to make sure he would not leave the family business - circus of course).
I chose this look for my avatar for a reason: If people can look past the exterior long enough, to get to know me better, they will meet my inner self. Oh, I do have the "Keith Drop" look too for my avatar, but just as it was only a disguise for Papa, to hide his face and be more "acceptable," it would only be a disguise for me too. People should like me for who I am; not judge me for what my avatar looks like. This goes for any user out there really. Don't prejudge people and say "oh, he/she looks like a ghetto-gansta, furry, vampire, goth, emo or even a "newb" (maybe they are new, and have no other clothing yet, but that doesn't mean they might not be nice people). Get to know people, before you judge them.
